SAVE THE DATE - JULY 28 & 29 – POTSDAM TRAINING EVENT

The summer training event for Magistrates and Court Clerks will be held again this year in Potsdam. Mark your calendar for Monday and Tuesday, July 28^th and 29^th!

The SUNY Potsdam campus is an ideal setting. Comfortable classrooms are air-conditioned, with great seating and perfect audiovisual. Meals are provided on campus and there will be a free barbecue on Monday night provided by the “chefs” from DMV.

All of the “core” topics will be offered twice – once on Monday and again on Tuesday. A full schedule of electives will be offered on both days. By scheduling the classes in this manner you will be able to take advantage of the elective subjects of your choice without having to miss any of the “core” topics. Classes have been scheduled this way for the past year or so and everyone seams to approve of the format. It is the most efficient way to meet the needs of all of the Court Clerks and to best utilize the talents of the trainers.

This is a very affordable training event; there is no registration fee, housing is either at a hotel in nearby Canton or in a dorm room that is very inexpensive. Overnight accommodations will require your reservation.

Return with me now to those carefree days of campus learning! Toss your casual clothes in a bag and come to Potsdam in July. You will be glad that you did!
