Curriculum

All court clerks, including full-time and part-time clerks, must take six hours of approved Continuing Clerk Education (CCE) training annually, including one fiscal course.  Currently, the OJCS Clerk Core curriculum is the only approved CCE training programming that can be utilized toward your annual training requirements.  Nassau County Clerks will be required to take four hours of the OJCS Clerk Core CCE training, including one fiscal course.

Newly-Hired Court Clerks

Newly-hired Court Clerks (all those clerks hired on or after January 1, 2019) must take the introductory twelve hours of the OJCS Supporting the Bench training program, including one Fiscal credit, by the end of the calendar year within which they are hired/appointed.  Newly-hired Nassau County Clerks must take six hours of the OJCS Supporting the Bench training program, including one Fiscal credit, by the end of the calendar year within which they are hired/appointed.
